Hmmm....

Do you ever feel like you're in this car?? This pretty much sums up what I feel like sometimes.

I actually took this picture in Ireland. There was another sign we came across and I have been kicking myself for almost 10 years now because I didn't take a picture of it. It said "Metric Station 100 Yards" - I thought it was funny. All of the speed limit signs were in kpm, but most distance signs were in miles.

Random things:

Some news - my sister Jennifer is engaged.

In other news - I am a few months from my birthday and I am feeling old. I don't really have much else to say. Emi is in counseling, I think I will be soon. I just cannot pull myself out of it.

In still other news - Chris & I got to go out for dinner for the first time in 5 months! That was nice.

Funny thing - Charlie told me Tuesday night (totally out of the blue) he needed to buy a new daddy. I asked him who he was thinking of buying and he said Hippy (what they call Chris). He said he would buy him for a lot of money. I asked where he was going to get this money and he said he was going to use mine. I told him that wasn't going to work for me, he settled on offering Christopher a penny to be his new dad. I really don't know where these children of mine get this stuff. When Emi was about the same age she asked if we could buy her a daddy. I asked her where we should do that and she told me "duh, at the daddy store." I told her as soon as she figures out where that is I would take here asap! funny.

More funny things my children say:
Emi says to Chris after he shaved his face (he normally has a goatee) "Ewww, it looks like you have two chins"
Charlie says to Chris at the same time "HIPPY, YOUR FACE IS NAKED"
Emi says "Hippy your belly feels just like a pillow" to which he says "nice, Emi" to which she back-pedals "No, I mean its soft to lay on like my pillow" to which I tell her to just stop before she digs herself a deeper hole.

So I am trying to find humor and happiness in small things. Just thought I would post something so you all know I am around.
