Oncology appt.

Dad went to the oncologist today. He had his last chemo today as well. He will need to go back every three weeks for the med to boost his red blood cells. He will have a CT scan in about 6 weeks to check the progress. The Dr. assured us that when the cancer starts to go again, he still has "a few tricks up his sleeve". So we are in a holding pattern, the good old "wait and see".

I know Dad will be at my shop tomorrow doing some work if he feels ok.

On a personal note, I feel like a horrible mom. It is my son's second birthday today and I totally forgot about it. Fortunately for me he is not old enough to realize I forgot. I have been working late since wednesday and it has been so hectic at work getting ready for the big Metro Cruise this weekend my brain was on auto. So Happy Birthday to Charlie, at least we had ice cream for supper. If any of you are going to the Metro Cruise this weekend, look for me at one of the souvenir booths. One is at Roger's Plaza and one at Woodland Mall. Cross your finger we sell all of the swag so all our hard day and night work will be worth it.

Think good thoughts and have a good weekend.
